Seminar on Stock Exchange Development in Myanmar
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar, UMFCCI and Allen&Gledhill Legal Co.,Ltd Jointly organized the seminar on “Stock Exchange Development in Myanmar ’’ for developing the Yangon Stock Exchange and capital market of Myanmar from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on 16th March 2017.
At this seminar,U Htay Chun,a commission member of Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar,spoke on “The Legal and Infrastructure for Development of Capital Market of Myanmar and the efforts of Commission to achieve a fair and transparent capital market”.U Min Naing Oo, Managing Director of Allen &Gledhill,then talked about “ Capital Market in Myanmar:Pratical considerations”.
This was followed by a Question and Answer session.U Htay Chun answered of the participants’ questions and the seminar ended at 12:00 noon.(163) participants consisting of SECM and staff of Listed companies,Public companies,Private companies,officers from private banks, responsiable persons from government organizations and non-government organizations attended this seminar.
