The Fifth Myanmar-Japan Joint Committee Meeting for Capital Market Development
On 2nd November, 2018 the Fifth Myanmar-Japan Joint Committee’s regular meeting for Capital Market Development was held at the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Yangon. In this meeting , U Maung Maung Win, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar and Deputy Minister of Ministry of Planning and Finance ,Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar , Managing Director and officials from Yangon Stock Exchange, officials from Japanese embassy , Advisor to SECM, Central Bank of Myanmar, DICA and IRD from Japan, official from Japanese Ministry of Finance , Japan Exchange Group, Japanese Financial Service Agency, Daiwa Institute of Research attended and discussed about the review of the performance of Special Task Force which was provided by JICA for promoting listed companies at YSX, the progress done by Myanmar-Japan Joint Committee, the updates report by Special Task Forces for surveying potential listed companies, the progressive report of Listing Consulting Division under YSX and Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) of securities companies presented by SECM and pre-arrangement presentation of eight trainees from Office of SECM and YSX those who will go to Japan for studying securities businesses provided by JICA.
