The task and duties of Legal Affair Department are as follows:

  • Providing legal advice to the SECM as requested by other relevant departments.
  • Providing legal advice on issuance of notification, guideline and instruction.
  • Providing appropriate advice and support in conducting department investigations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Giving opinions in all legal matters.
  • Overseeing legal action matters.
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the Director General.
