First Myanmar Investment Public Company Limited (“FMI”, the “Company” and collectively with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) is one of Myanmar’s largest public companies with more than 9,000 shareholders. In March 2016, FMI became the first company to be listed on the Yangon Stock Exchange (“YSX”). FMI’s strength lies in its strategic diversification, professional management, corporate governance and transparency. FMI’s Board of Directors (the “Board” or the “Directors”) promotes good corporate governance and has a strong independent element to protect the interests of its stakeholders.

MTSH is a public company that owns shares and invests in other companies engaged in real estate development in Myanmar. It was established by a Myanmar consortium comprising of nine principal shareholders primarily (but not exclusively) for the purpose of participating in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (Thilawa SEZ) Project. The Thilawa SEZ Project is primarily an industrial park development, which the Myanmar Government and the Japanese Government have agreed to cooperate to develop and also include logistic zones, Residential and Commercial development.

MTSH’s principal business activities are as follows:

• Investment in Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Ltd. (MJTD), the joint venture company undertaking the development, construction, marketing, lease, sale and operation of the Zone A Project. Apart from being a shareholder in MJTD, MTSH has a Management Agreement with MJTD. MTSH also has a Marketing Agreement with MJTD to separately seek out and secure possible tenants/locators for Thilawa SEZ Zone A Project.

• Investment in Thilawa Property Development Ltd. (TPD), which will engage in the development, construction, marketing, sale and operation the Residential and Commercial Component of the Zone A Project.

• Engage in the development of the Thilawa SEZ (other than the Zone A Area) or any part thereof as may be determined by our Directors in their discretion.

MTSH plans to create and ensure long-term value by investing in other real estate development projects in the Thilawa SEZ and in Myanmar (other than in the Thilawa SEZ), as may be allowed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association and Applicable Laws. Although the Company believes that majority of its earnings in the next few years will still come from MJTD and TPD and its current projects, it recognizes that it is important for the Company to expand in order to diversify its sources of earnings and to make sure that the Company has recurring and dependable income.

Western Union Money Transfer Services FPB signed an agreement with Western Union Money transfer services on 12th January, 2013. CBM approved outbound money transfer on 6th January, 2016.

TMH has started its business operations in 2007 and primarily focused on the manufacturing of quality automatic telephone exchanges with the help of its own research and development team.

Thereafter, the Business of the Company was expanded to include the provision of other information and communication technology services and currently, the principal business activities of the Company are as follows:

• fixed and mobile network engineering services;
• fiber turnkey projects;
• BTS and fiber installation and maintenance;
• manufacturing and distribution of mobile top-up-cards; and
• Conference system.

In 2016, Myanmar GT Broadband Co., Ltd. (“GT Broadband”) was set up as a joint venture between the Company and GCI Science & Technology Co., Ltd. to engage in the business of construction and operation of communication and broadband service in Myanmar.

Moving forward, the Company is also considering expanding into the installation of metro fiber networks in Myanmar.

As at the Latest Practicable Date, our Company has a total of 267 employees as well as 11 branches and 30 offices spread across Myanmar.

Our company, MAEX, was established on September 14, 2015, after Dagon International Ltd. won the tender to develop, construct and manage New Danyingone Wholesale Market as Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC), with a commitment in the tender to establish a public company to carry out the business with Dagon International Ltd. holding 45% of the shares to start with and allowing the public to hold shares in the newly formed company. Dagon International Ltd. is the flagship company of the Dagon Group of Companies. Dagon Group of Companies is one of the most highly regarded and diversified groups in Myanmar. Dagon Company started its business in 1990 as a trading company and now operates as a group of companies in various sectors, which include agriculture, property development and construction, hospitality management, retail and distribution, manufacturing, automobiles, food, logistics, and petroleum.

On February 22, 2016, the Yangon City Development Committee and MAEX signed an agreement on the implementation of the Insein Township Danyingone Fruit and Vegetable and Horticulture Wholesale Market.

MAEX was permitted to IPO as un unlisted public company by SECM on January 11, 2017.

On September 9, 2017, the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) approved the construction and implementation of Danyingone Wholesale market  was granted.

On January 30, 2018, the Grand Opening Ceremony of Phase (1) Danyingone Wholesale was held, and now there are 1724 wholesalers and retailers in the market.

MAEX was approved to be listed on the Yangon Stock Exchange (Main Board) on 12th June 2023.
