Workshop on Issuance of Foreign Currency Bond” hosted by SECM and DECHA&CO (Myanmar) Limited
On 2nd to 3rd December, 2017, the Workshop on Issuance of Foreign Currency Bonds hosted by Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar and DECHA&CO (Myanmar) Limited was held in Yangon Stock Exchange. The purposes of the workshop are to assist implementation of emerging foreign currency bonds market in Myanmar and to raise the capital of Policy Makers.
All of 60 including the responsible persons and trainees from the Treasury Department, Myanma Insurance, Myanma Economic Bank and Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar under management of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, Central Bank of Myanmar, Yangon Stock Exchange and Securities Companies, Export – Import Bank of Thailand (EXAM), Ministry of Finance of the Lao, EDL-Generation Public Company of the Lao PDR, Lighthouse Asia Limited, TRIS Rating Co.Ltd, Decha & Co Limited (Thailand), Allen & Over Law Firm of Thailand attended to this workshop.
In this workshop, the expert speakers from of Thailand and Lao PDR shared their knowledge and discussed about the opportunities, procedures, disciplines, laws & regulations, benefits and challenges of foreign currency Bonds Issuance of Myanmar in Thailand.
